I was warned by a seasoned Colorado traveler that the drive up to Crystal Mill would be extremely dangerous with fresh snow...but I thought "it's only a few inches".  After nearly putting my truck into the river twice, and almost getting stuck numerous times I finally made it.  My nerves where rattled until the morning clouds lifted and revealed the old 1800's wooden mill surrounded by the beautiful autumns colors of Colorado and fresh snow.  It was well worth the drive.
