I skied up to the Maroon Bells after a big spring storm had draped this iconic mountain range in fresh snow. As the day began to break, I could hear two Canada Geese at the far end of the lake, but they were too far away to include in my composition. As the sun traveled further into the sky, the geese made their way to my end of the lake. Click. I love the scale that these geese give to the Maroon Bell Mountains on this magical morning.
